Trace and locate single or bundled cables in any active or unpowered circuit with the TDG310K1C Digital Tone and Probe Kit from Platinum Tools. Using both audible and visual indications, with optional silent mode and external audio output to earphones, this kit makes it much easier to diagnose networks using RJ45, RJ11, BNC, and other coaxial or twisted-pair systems, allowing you to check the status of analog phone lines, test PoE ports for port speed and power levels, check proper shielding continuity and cable termination, test for shorts, and produce LED wire maps, just to name a few applications.
The digital tone signal produced by the TDG310K1C rejects noise and false signals, ensuring accurate readings. A built-in high-intensity LED flashlight provides excellent illumination when a problem is found and you need to start digging through cable bundles or plenum spaces.
