With its ultra-stiff graphite-cone woofer, the C801 is one fantastic-sounding ceiling speaker. The big 8-inch woofer pumps out awesome bass, and the pivoting tweeter delivers clear highs wherever you want them. Bass and treble boost switches hidden behind the grille let you fine-tune the sound in seconds.

The graphite material used in the C801's woofer cone is far stiffer than almost any other cone material you can find. That means it produces low distortion and very clear sound. To keep up with the high-powered woofer, we gave the C801 a low-distortion aluminum tweeter. The tweeter pivots so you can direct the sound wherever you want.

You can boost bass and/or treble by 3 dB using the tone switches behind the grille. A high sensitivity of 92 dB lets the C801 hit 100 dB with just 8 watts of power. The C626 is a great mid-priced ceiling speaker, blending the high output of a graphite woofer with the smooth, sweet sound of a silk-dome tweeter. High sensitivity and excellent power handling make the C626 a superb choice for practically any room in the house, but especially for rooms where you want the best sound.

The C626 features one of our very best woofers, a 6½-inch model with a graphite-impregnated cone that's stiffer than paper or polypropylene. You get clearer sound with lower distortion, all the way down to 45 Hz! A sweet-sounding, pivoting 1-inch silk-dome tweeter perfectly complements the graphite woofer's refined sound. It's the ideal ceiling speaker for situations that demand affordable high performance.

To make the C626 easy to drive for any amplifier, we gave it a forgiving 8-ohm impedance. We also gave it a sensitivity of 91 dB, so you can run it at high volumes even with a low-powered amplifier.
