Add Bluetooth to a custom-installed audio system
This versatile kit lets you add Bluetooth to just about any home audio system — even a custom-installed, whole-home system where the amplifier is located out of sight in a basement or closet.
How it works
The BSK-2 includes two separate units: a remote transceiver and an audio hub. You'll place transceiver wherever you want to make Bluetooth pairing available in your home for yourself and your guests. The audio hub goes in the same room as your amplifier, and it connects to your existing audio system via its optical digital or analog stereo outputs. You can connect the transceiver and hub to each other from as far as 500 feet away via bulk CAT-5 or CAT-6 Ethernet cable.
A versatile part of your Russound distributed audio system
If you're using a Russound MCA-66 or MCA-88 multi-zone controller and amplifier, then you can use the BSK-2 to add multiple Bluetooth inputs. You can also use the Russound app for playback control. And you can add as many as eight BSK-2s — one for each zone in your Russound distributed audio system.
